Computer Upgrades in General Labs

emac computerBoth General Use Labs (Moore 3120 and GSE&IS 118) Now have G5 computers. Along with this hardware comes Mac OS X 10.4, Apple's latest version of its operating system.



Home Access to Files  

You can now connect remotely to the Students fileserver to transfer files remotely.
Windows users: Connection method from outside UCLA campus has been changed. Please see the new instructions on using SFTP software.

OS X Help

We have provided some OS X help pages to help familarize yourself with the new operating system.

SAS Web Book Available

The Statistical Consulting Group at Academic Technology Services has created a SAS Web Book titled "Regression with SAS" covering a variety of topics on using regression analysis with SAS. It should be emphasized that the book does not teach regression, but shows how to use SAS for performing regression analysis.
