Computer Upgrades in General Labs
Both General Use Labs (Moore 3120 and GSE&IS 118) Now have G5 computers. Along with this hardware comes Mac OS X 10.4, Apple's latest version of its operating system.
You can now connect remotely to the Students fileserver to transfer files remotely.
Windows users: Connection method from outside UCLA campus has been changed. Please see the new instructions on using SFTP software.
We have provided some OS X help pages to help familarize yourself with the new operating system.
The Statistical Consulting Group at Academic Technology Services has created a SAS Web Book titled "Regression with SAS" covering a variety of topics on using regression analysis with SAS. It should be emphasized that the book does not teach regression, but shows how to use SAS for performing regression analysis.

If you are using Internet Explorer you will get a message saying: There is a problem with the security certificate from the site (the identity certificate issuer is unknown.). You do not need to worry about it. If you have any concerns e-mail the webmaster or come by ETU.
