Advanced Analysis Laboratory

About the Lab2

The Advanced Analysis Lab provides computers and peripherals to conduct high-end statistical and video analysis, and is located in Moore Hall, Room 2028. Access is limited to GSE&IS faculty and students working on specific projects requiring use of these machines. (Faculty authorization is a prerequisite for students.) You may sign-up for an analysis lab account if you meet these requirements.

These computers are for high-end analysis applications. If you need to do basic word processing, email, or web browsing, please use a computer in one of the GSE&IS General Use Labs: Moore 3120 or GSE&IS 118.

Storing files on the computers:

Because these computers are shared by many people, personal files left on these hard drives are not secure. It is extremely important to back up your data, either on removable media (CD-RW or Zip) or on a network drive.

IMPORTANT:

If you leave personal files on these computers, it is very likely they will be deleted by another user.
