computer lab in Moore Hall, room 3120 consists of 19 iMac computers. They
feature:
Several of the machines are connected to external VST Floppy Drives. (Please note,these drives read only High Density floppy disks, either marked with an HD or havingan open hole opposite to the disk locking tab.)
A couple of the machines are connected to an Iomega Zip Drive.
If you don't need to use a Zip or floppy disk, please be considerate of thosewho do and don't use a computer with a drive attached.
The software installed in the Moore Lab consists of many commonly used and popularapplications, including Microsoft Office, Netscape Navigator, and Eudora Pro. For more information,see the ETU SoftwarePage.
In the GSE&IS Labs, each account holder is givenspace on the Home Server. When the user logs on, his or her volume comesup on the desktop. Within that volume, the user will find his or her personal folder.This folder is accessible from any labcomputer, any networked computer in the GSE&IS Network, and even from home.
Use one of the iMacs that has a disk drive attached toit. Open your disk and drag all of the files on it to yourserver space. Eject your disk. Open the files you wish tochange/print from your server space and save them in yourserver space.
If you ever need to put files back onto a floppy, just use acomputer that has a floppy drive, open your server space, anddrag the files back to the floppy.
