Changing your password

Due to past problems with password security, ETU now creates each account with a random alphanumeric password. Although this password is fairly secure, it may be difficult to remember. You can change your password by following the instructions below.

1. After logging into the computer, go to the "Special" menu. Select the option "Set Password..."
   
   
   
   
2. When the dialog box pops up, type in your old password.
   
   
   
   
3. When the next dialog box pops up, type in your new password. It should be something easy to remember, but not easy to guess. Usually, mixing numbers and letters is best. For example: 32d0hs. Remember, your password must be at least 5 characters long.
   
   
   
   
4. When the next dialog box pops up, confirm your new password by retyping it in the box. Your password will then be changed.
   
   
   
   
5. That's it, your password has been changed.
