Lab Account Information and Rules

Obtaining a lab account allows the user access to the computer labs in Moore Hall 3120 and
GSE&IS 118.

An account username and password are provided for access. Users are responsible for all
activity which occurs on a computer logged into with their username.

The account for use of the computer labs in Moore Hall and GSE&IS building is free to
GSE&IS students. Students outside GSE&IS, taking one or more GSE&IS courses, may obtain
an account on a per-quarter basis. Under special circumstances, others may obtain accounts for
$150.00 per year, payable at the beginning of the school year. Summer quarter is included in the
annual fee.

Laser printing is available in the lab; Printing is limited to the account holder's own work
ONLY. Every quarter, each account is credited with 500 printer credits (500 pages). Account holders
may purchase additional credits at a rate of $15 per 500 credits.

The lab account is valid for the owner ONLY. Do not give your account information to anyone.
Doing so may result in a loss of lab priveleges.

NO smoking, food, or drink is allowed in the labs. Violations of this policy may result in loss
of lab privileges.

GSE&IS teaching assistants may take students into the labs for consultation, but only
students with their own valid accounts may remain in the lab to do their own work.

Copying software is illegal. Doing so may result in a loss of lab priveleges.

Children are not allowed in the computer lab.
